PIN TENSION. I've had alot of vehicles with pin TENSION issues at dlc. Could be that simple, you wouldn't need to reset monitors either. I would try that first then scope out can lines before unplugging battery. Can high is 2.5 not talking, pulled to 3.5 volts... Login to read more.
