I had a similar issue recently. Similar year, make, model, and the infamous Triton 5.4 Had noisy lifters (cyls 2, 3, 5, 6). High mileage, neglected. Also had chain rattle (guides, not phasers). Pulled it apart, replaced ALL lifters and followers, chains, guide... Login to read more.
