AC voltage what causes it?

Now for some fun. I had a 1983 GM T10 Blazer with a 2.8L non feadback carb. that had AC voltage at the alternator. With the alt. loaded, there was 400 mv on the volt sense wire and bat. terminal. This was done with an averaging DMM. I also checked it with a RM... Login to read more.
