For the most part yes. It's a little slippery applying ohm's law directly to a fuel pump or any inductive motor, however. You might measure a resistance of 0.5 ohms, and assume at 12 volts the pump would pull 24 amps. But the inductance of a rotating motor lim... Login to read more. ![]()
