Re: alternator overcharging
IF your alternator output (+) & case (-) have minimal
voltage drop to the battery & chassis, AND the unit
overcharges with the regulator unplugged, THEN the unit is
bad- period. With the connector off, it should put out
around 13.5-13.7V. ![]()
