I agree. Worked on them for years, either on BMW or VW. Fixed many with proper setting of the base F/A ratio or tweaking the control pressure. BMW provided exhaust taps upstream of the cat [80 - 83] to get the CO exactly on spec. I don't recall many problems w... Login to read more.
