Are you sure it's an 8 3/4 rear axle. Does is have a drop out center section where the ring and pinion ride? Could be a Ford 8" rear axle like some 6 cylinder mustangs and most Ford falcons had. My 65 Falcon has an 8" behind a 289 V8 automatic. Good Luck Login to read more.
