Just had one similar in an 05 tahoe. It would start making a ticking noise after idling for a few minutes. Sometimes at a stoplight, some in the driveway. Seemed to do it quicker if the truck was pointed up hill. No oil pressure issues and the noise would go ... Login to read more.
