I have had two 6.0 GM trucks with lifter tick when hot, I do not remember what the exact psi was hot or cold. The gage runs up to 80 psi I think, both we're in the 3/4 gage range but had ticking lifters, worse the longer it idled. The gage was still 3/4, maybe... Login to read more.
