The pcm supplies reference voltage for all sensors- this same supply inside the pcm powers its internal logic circuits. So anything that pulls down Vref(a shorted sensor or wiring harness fault) will "shutdown" the pcm. You have to catch it in the act & trace ... Login to read more. ![]()
