Anyone who has owned a Dodge or Chrysler 2.7 liter engine and has had any internal engine work performed relating to the timing chain tensioner is urged to register at the following website http://www.tensionerdefect.com you may be eligible for compensation. A defectively machined tensioner part #9422 and 9-5422 manufactured by SA Gear and sold by Autozone, Advance Auto/ Carquest stores within the last 5 years has caused many mechanics and owners hours of labor, time and money in damages due to catastrophic loss of oil pressure.
