I just went out and jumped in my truck (2002 Silverado 1500HD...same truck)

The park brake pedal doesn't have too much tension...you can push it to the floor with probably 30lbs of pressure of less. My brake holds great, 1700 rpms and the truck didn't move. ... Login to read more.
