3m channel bond adhesive is the correct product to use. I have used 3m window weld adhesive, but it requires overnight set. Some have suggested Permatex Right Stuff. This would be the wrong stuff to use as it is a gasket maker, not an adhesive to bond metal to... Login to read more.
