A really nice 87 Sentra with a fresh timing belt might be worth $1500. I imagine the repair exceeded the car's value by at least 3x; time to scrap it. Head gasket blown between two cylinders is fairly common on those engines; more so on the 80's 2.4 truck ... Login to read more.
