Can't say I've ever tried that. But I do know muriatic acid is pretty aggressive, the heater core is probably (thin) aluminum. Plus, even if it didn't eat the core, you'd still have to be POSITIVE you got all the acid out before putting the cooling system back... Login to read more. ![]()
