Hi Bill,

I repaired the threads in two cylinder blocks using a Heli-Coil, not a Time-Sert. The threads are recessed in the block so I'm not sure if the Time-Sert repair would work. I only had Heli-Coils that were about 1/2" long so I installed three of them ... Login to read more.
