I found the TSB 02-100-06 in Alldata that describes Subaru's procedure for cleaning the block & heads. They show using a razor blade, a carbide tipped scraper (Goodson makes an excellent one) & a cleaning solvent of your choice with a rag. They do not recommen... Login to read more.
