Hi Steve this is a three wire coil it has 12v power, ground and a trigger /signal wire from ecu to fire the coil. The ignitor is built into the coil and there is one for each cylinder. Based on the input of cam/crank signal ecu fires coil and injectors. Trying... Login to read more.
