If the gasoline is auto-igniting there is a secondary heat source, Compression alone won't do it. Even with GDI, You still need a spark. A diesel/gas blend will combust in a SI engine as long as the ratio of diesel to gas isn't to high. I would expect a fair ... Login to read more.
