Re: vin mismatch codes, can vin be changed without changing pcm?
Both Kevin and Kirk are correct. Using OE tooling you can
change the VIN in a non CAN and CAN PCM. They have given you
the correct procedures. I do a fair amount of used modules
on CAN and non-CAN vehicles.
