If the vin is written the ONLY pcm's I was ever able to rewrite while working at a Chrysler dealer were the old JTEC in a WJ grand Cherokee. If you have an NGC controller (which I believe you do) the vin is not rewritable, used PCM's are a no go. Even pre CAN ... Login to read more.
