Are you able to align the EWS and DME with your scanner? I recently had an e39 5 series around the same year that wouldn't start, I put an EWS in it and it still wouldn't start.. I had a signal going to it from the ignition switch, but It wasn't ENOUGH voltage... Login to read more.
