I think you guys are talking about older Chrysler vehicle with VTSS, not SKIM, they are different. VTSS is built into BCM as an anti-theft alarm feature. while SKIM is a transponder key.

I never heard of anyone can erase SKIM feature off a PCM. But I suppose... Login to read more.
