It'll work, so long as the '99 is a 4 door. Don't swap the DME's (PCM's) as BMW's "EWS" transponder key system has keys registered to the PCM. It'll start on the 2.5 computer. There are various options beyond that. Search the web, you'll see what I mean. Login to read more.
