Re: what is causing this peculiar fuel trim at idle?
I've seen negative fuel trim numbers at idle (nearly -20%) being caused by what appears to be normal purge solenoid operation. They would run the purge solenoid at about 18% duty cycle at idle and when it was disconnected or shut off via the scanner fuel trims... Login to read more. ![]()
