I don't know what its made of but, Ive seen some converters that have a "fiber" kind of stuff wrapped around the "honeycomb"core. I "assumed" it was protecting the core from vibration or thermal shock. Fiberglass looking stuff. Enough snow n Cold already! Login to read more.
