Seeing as that it can take a few weeks or more for the cam sensor to fail, I would probably change the crank sensor also. The tapping diagnosis IS proving that the cam sensor is bad NOW(part has already failed). The issue sometimes with the Chrysler cam/crank ... Login to read more.
