A bosch pump on a Volvo will generally produce 6-7 bar dead headed, so that is roughly correct. 43 psi (3 bar) is correct. Do you have another pressure gauge? I stretched the tube in one of mine when I was testing a Volvo with a blocked pressure regulator. Login to read more.
