Alternator removal

I have remove the alternator on this Jetta, Alldata says" to put the lock carrier in the service position. I did an 01 VW Passat alternator putting the lock carrier in the service position, I didn't drain the cooling system or discharge the A/C system. Does th... Login to read more.
