I have seen quite a few broken oil pumps. Mostly 5.3/6.0. I have found the o-ring on the pick up tube looses it's seal and the pump loses it's prime and runs dry. The new Melling high volume pumps come with 2 different o-rings for both style pick up tubes. Als... Login to read more.
