Is this a viscous clutch arrangement? If so I use a photo tach. look for the blade speed to be 80 percent or more of the hub speed at 3000 RPM ish. Slip increases with RPM. Don't split hairs though, a bad one will be more like 60 percent if it acts up on anyth... Login to read more.
