Ty, I would also like to add that most rotors, the outboard side of the rotor is as cast with the rotor hat, which is connected to the hub/bearing/spindle, all which absorb heat. The more heat a brake pad sees, the more wear. Also, much heat is vented out thro... Login to read more.
