Windstar 3.8 rod bearings,just when you think you've seen it all.

The subject, 1995 Windstar 3.8, 114000 miles or so .

This engine obviously had major bearing problems, but, I've never seen a bearing come out looking like this . Any idea why it shattered?? There is still some copper on it, the only thing I can think of is ... Login to read more.
