My 1972 used leaded gas and had no catalytic converter. I believe 1973/1974 was when the transition started with catalytic converters. I know that 1971 460 motors were like 10:1 compression and 365hp. Where my 1972 was like 8:5:1 and was 275hp. Big difference ... Login to read more.
