Its cruise control. If I remember right, there was no ABS on lincoln in 74, but they did use driveshaft mounted cruise rings on fords as early as 68. PS - if it DID have the ABS system (WHich I think didnt appear till 79 and I dont recall what they called it) ... Login to read more.
