The RIM has 2 data lines, both purple. One is term A12, the other B12. I would cut or back out each one separately, see if that helps. If it has OnStar, disconnect that. (Class 2 is a loop on this car, the VIU is between RIM and SDM) Also check for rubthrough ... Login to read more.
