The old 55 is running great but the rockers need adjustment.

I have no idea what cam is in this small block. It does have solids (not roller), wont idle below 1,200 and really likes 4,000 RPM and up. If I remember the clearance should be 26 cold or 12 hot. So... Login to read more.
