205 degrees isn't overheating. If the radiator tank split you might have other issues (head gasket, etc.). On most GM's the fan comes on around 225 degrees (as others have stated). In the early years of GM front-driver's (mid '80s) they had 3 coolant sensors/s... Login to read more. ![]()
