That sounds right for an automatic with Bosch 5.7. You can also look for the rpo codes near the spare. Vag calls them PR not rpo codes.

04 means you have a passat non w8.

042 means you have either have 1LB, 1LE or 1ZC brakes (per RPO on sticker near spare)... Login to read more.
