According to the Prestolite Service Manual, your distributor wiring is: PURPLE TO COIL POSITIVE (+) AND BLACK TO COIL NEGITIVE(-). This is for all IDU-7000 series distributors. Hope that helps...Have a Good Day......Ray Login to read more.
