I had a P0171 on a GM with 3.4 V6 (LNJ) that turned out to be caused by the dreaded vent hose popped out of the rear valve cover issue. I will have to take everyone's word that a new OEM pipe will eventually pop out again since I haven't replaced one and track... Login to read more.
