Your local rebuilder should be able to rebuild a 12 v (LOW cut-in ) alternator - or + ground. Coil,starter sol,light bulbs,and anything else that was 6 volt electrical has to be changed to 12v. The origional 6v starter can be used but it's ruff on the armature... Login to read more.
