I agree Dan,

Low coolant temp is the #1 killer of MPGs and usually overlooked by allot of technicians, I look for 95Deg Celsius while cruising, 3,4 or 5 degrees below this kills MPG, all the others checks also. I make sure TCC lock up is solid as well.
