I am not quite sure how to adjust the reg. The best this will muster is 7.7v at 19 amps with the 6v bat. It shows a discharge with the8v bat in the car. I assume the gen. just will not put out enough. Like I said, we installed an 8v in a 1947 Lincoln it charg... Login to read more.
