97 Venture - RKE won't work power door locks

Hello group

I'm looking at a 1997 Chev Venture that is equipped with a Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system and a POWER SIDE CARGO DOOR which operates on the RKE transmitter. The RKE transmitter works the cargo door, but it will not operate the door locks.
