Deen, on a computer controlled alternator, in most scenarios, the PCM will send a signal that will vary in frequency, to set the alternator voltage. Therefore, DON'T EVEN THINK about applying a variable voltage, say, from 1-12 volts, UNLESS you want to replace... Login to read more. ![]()
