I've used that scan tool test on Toyotas & I agree, it's quick & easy & can catch a number of AF faults (skewed range etc). I don't see how this would catch a SLOW sensor- I've had one RAV4 that had decent range on the scanner test but was slow enough to throw... Login to read more.
