Re: GDI maintenance
It's to my understanding that it's caused by valve overlap (traces of exhaust gases in the intake manifold), and a lack of fuel/detergent in the intake runner to clean these deposits before they become a problem. Haven't dealt with problems stemming from it ye... Login to read more. ![]()
