what is considered good compression?

I just got in a 1976 Mustang II- it has only 100 psi on all cyls... can that be normal? I recall hearing old school motors used low comp to deal with crap gas and detonation, but can this be enough to run right? or is there something else going on, like toaste... Login to read more.
