Sounds a lot like a dirty MAF sensor. Pull it out and you'll probably see a bunch of fuzzies on the hot wires. They can be cleanded with carb. spray and a q-tip. Be gentle with them though. If you'd like you can check peak output of the sensor. It should hit a... Login to read more.
